Our winery was founded by first generation winemaker Janez Istenič, who trained in Champagne. Janez put Slovenian sparkling wine on the map. The brand was spearheaded by his son Miha into a modern world, serving dignitries and critics across the globe. Istenič is now in the hands of third generation Mark and Nik, ready for what comes next.
